I can finally talk about this!!
So, sorry for my roommates who have already heard this story a bizzillion times, but I GOT THE MOST AWESOME INTERNSHIP EVER!!!!! I’m working for the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia (previously the Wachovia Center) and I will be working events. hmmm what events might you ask… well some examples :
76ers and flyers game. last week dave matthews, this week roger waters, this weekend Justin Bieber, next month trans-Siberian orchestra, and Usher… yeah its real.
I can’t believe it. Its too good to be true… but i’d like to think i worked hard to earn it. Ive been apart of an student group at my university for 4 years that brings all type of events and i’ve paid my dues working late hours and very hard. And i guess it paid off. I have the experience that should really help me with this internship.
I AM SERIOUSLY READY TO KICK BUTT AT THIS JOB!!
**side note: i’m about to turn 21 in a week from next monday!! yesssssssss**
