Social Media
Graduating with a marketing degree, meant that it was nessecary for to be familiar with all the different social media sources. So between my Xanga, Myspace, Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, I am somewhat overwhelmed at where I need go to to post my info/pictures to stay up to date.
For example, if my brother says something funny to me and I want to quote it do I:
- A) Tweet it - since its short and within that character limit
- B) Facebook it -more people can see it and “like” it
- C) Post on Tumblr - so I can explain the story behind it.
- D) Post it to ALL of the above …. (but I don’t want to be redundant)
Pictures are worst.. I want to blog them, but I also want to show them on FB so I can tag friends. And lot of them will already go on instagram, since that is what I use to edit them…
I don’t know why its frustrating me, I just overthink it. I wish I could just combine all these into ONE perfect media source to make it easier for me to post my shit and for someone to stalk my life…
but on the bright side, my iPhone does make it a little more convenient since there’s an app for ALL of the social media sites

Green Smoothie - 1 cup baby spinach, 1 cup kale, 1 pear, 1 ½ cup of orange juice, and 1 frozen banana.
Chocolate Peanut Butter – 2 TBL unsweetened cocoa powder, 2 TBL peanut butter, ½ banana, 1 cup almond milk, ice. 320 calories total.
Mango Ginger — 2 cups frozen Mango, 1 cup frozen raspberries, 1 banana, ¼ cup chopped ginger, squeeze of lime, yogurt.
Strawberry Date — 1 date, 1 ½ cup frozen strawberries, 1 cup almond milk. Optional: 1 scoop protein powder or 1 TBL of flaxseed oil.
I want to try and make one when I get home today =) the mango ginger sounds good!

Afghan War News of the Day: A US soldier reportedly carried out a brutal slaying of at least 16 Afghan civilians early this morning in two small villages near his base in the country’s southern Kandahar Province.
“It appears he walked off post and later returned and turned himself in,” military spokesman Lt. Cmdr. James Williams said of the unidentified staff sergeant who is currently in custody.
According to eyewitnesses, the soldier walked into at least three homes in the villages of Balandi and Alkozai and fired at their occupants. Nine children and three women were among the dead, per the latest report.
The deputy commander of Afghanistan’s international troop coalition, Lt. Gen. Adrian J. Bradshaw, stressed that this was “in no way part of authorized military activity.” US officials further denied earlier reports that the shooting was perpetrated by more than one assailant.
Afghan President Hamid Karzai released a statement demanding an explanation for the attack, which he referred to as “an intentional killing of innocent civilians [that] cannot be forgiven.”
The Taliban issued a similar statement, admonishing “the so called American peace keepers” for “once again quench[ing] their thirst with the blood of innocent Afghan civilians.”
This latest setback for US efforts in the region comes just as fury over last month’s Koran burning at Bagram Air Base and January’s corpse urination footage had begun to abate.
The US Embassy in Kabul attempted to diffuse the tension by releasing a statement expressing “deepest condolences to the families of the victims,” but experts say today’s incident may be the “fatal hammer blow on the U.S. military mission in Afghanistan.”
President Obama’s drawdown plan has US soldiers transferring full security control to their Afghan counterparts by the end of 2014.

Went cosmic bowling with my brother an a couple friends. It had been about year since I had gone bowling. I suck, but I did beat my brother and I had a lot of fun!!
